This policy explains how Vaktim uses data for prayer times, Qibla direction, notifications, purchases and support. Vaktim shows no ads and does not track you.

Data Use

Location

Precise location may be used for prayer time calculation and Qibla direction when the user gives location permission. Coarse location may be processed only for app functionality. Location is never used for advertising or tracking. Users can also choose a city manually where supported, and location permission can be changed in iOS Settings.

Notifications

The app may schedule local notifications for prayer reminders and related alerts when the user enables notifications.

Purchases

Premium access is handled through Apple's in-app purchase system. Purchase history is used to enable premium features such as Quran audio, dua playback, tasbih polish and full adhan access.

No Ads & No Tracking

Vaktim shows no advertisements and does not track you. The app contains no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs, does not collect an advertising identifier or device ID for advertising, and does not link your data with other companies' data. Because the app performs no tracking, it does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

Support

When users email support, the email address, message, screenshots and information they choose to include are used only to answer the support request.

User Choices

Users can manage location and notification permissions in iOS Settings at any time. The app performs no tracking, so no advertising or tracking consent is requested. Support requests can be sent to support@vaktim.app.
